Rising Currents Wellness currently provides services through secure telehealth appointments, allowing individuals throughout New York to access psychiatric care from the comfort and privacy of their own environment. Telehealth services are provided in accordance with applicable New York State regulations, HIPAA standards, and professional practice guidelines.

A telehealth-first model was intentionally chosen to help improve access to mental health services within rural and underserved communities, where transportation, distance, scheduling limitations, and provider shortages can often create barriers to care.

As Rising Currents Wellness continues to grow, there are future plans to expand into a hybrid model that may include in-person services and office-based appointments while continuing to maintain telehealth accessibility for those who benefit from remote care.
