We Rise Together.

Who We Are

Rising Currents Wellness is a private outpatient psychiatric practice providing psychiatric evaluation and medication management services for adolescents and adults experiencing a variety of mental health concerns. Care is individualized, evidence-based, and focused on helping each person improve overall functioning, emotional well-being, and quality of life.

Rising Currents Wellness was created because I witnessed firsthand the growing mental health crisis affecting our Northern New York communities. Every year, more people need help while access to care becomes increasingly limited. Wait lists grow longer, providers become fewer, and too many individuals and families are left facing life’s hardest moments without the support they deserve.

Watching this unfold was heartbreaking, and I knew I wanted to be part of the solution. I wanted to build a practice where compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care is accessible, personalized, and centered around one simple belief:

Every person deserves the opportunity to heal.

Services are provided by Andrea Arquiett, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and founder of Rising Currents Wellness. Treatment is approached collaboratively, with emphasis placed on education, patient involvement, and creating realistic, sustainable goals for care.
